OMG! A “Brush” with fame and I missed it!
I have clearly had my head up my butt because I didn’t even realize that one of my heroes, Brenda Dayne of Cast-On, actually linked to my blog. She shares an interest in calligraphy and mentioned wanting to take a class with Peter Thornton who teaches the illuminated watercolor lettering techniques of Adolph Bernd. I was lucky enough to be invited to a class with Peter about a year ago and I still refer back to the techniques he taught about paper, watercolors, calligraphy and life in general.
Clearly, I’ve been too busy playing with my dolls to notice a brush with celebrity. Sheesh!
