i am trying to publish
i am trying to publish my thoughts on-line. under the warped misconception that someone might actually be interested in what i think about anything. but i need to put something out there in the world. i need to create rather than consume. i am not the sum of my possessions. though, i may often be diverted by pretty things, i hope to contribute to this world something more. like i was told at work, in one of those big, everyone-must-attend meetings: “if you contribute more than you consume ina day, you have shown your worth.” or something to that effect.
this project also has a second purpose, i want to be as educated about web-related stuff as my cohorts. i am surrounded by people who upload, flash animate, record music, spin live internet radio and more. i wonder if i’ve just gotten too old to keep up. so, in my own feeble little way, words on the screen, in simple html will be my way of catching up. baby steps.
this is my first attempt at blogging, so don’t kill me if my template is all wonky.
